To celebrate our brand new 6th Form we decided to also create a brand new website, where we hope we will give you enough of a glimpse into how totally fab the place is, so you will want to enrol straight away!!
Joking aside, we can only provide a snapshot here, so please get in touch if you have any questions or want a grand tour!

We are delighted, yet again to be ranked as one of the best 6th form providers in the area and there is a whole section on the website which will tell you why Byron is the natural choice for 6th Form in this area.
HAPPY SURFING!
...Our results have put us in the top three in County Durham
The results again this year were awesome. Byron APS (average point score per student) this summer was 804.2. This was well above the national average of 698.8 and the County Durham average of 775.7. In terms of grades this would mean an average of AAB per student (only a few points short of AAA).
Average points per entry was also very impressive. Byron recorded a figure of 220.8 with the national figure of 208.3 and Durham being 209.3. That puts us in the top 3 sixth form centres in the whole of County Durham. (Does that put us in the champions league?).
All of this success would not come about without the dedication of students, teaching and support staff and parents.
